Understand how Payr works

Payr's current mission is to make users ' lives easier by making financial decisions and payments easier and more agile.

Since its launch last year, more than 70,000 people have used the app, which gives them full control over their spending on any kind of service, including betting sites and online casinos. Through a debit or credit card, you easily make payments using your mobile phone camera or electronic slips.

The company is licensed by the Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) of Norway, the body in charge of regulating financial institutions. Thus, it is good to know that use the Payr is safe and the company complies with all the secrecy and security requirements necessary to move your money.

Payr works as a payment method for online services. As we mentioned, previously the company made a prepaid Visa card available to its users. This is no longer the case. Now the company operates only for Norwegian residents through a mobile application.

With the app installed, you can make payments for tickets or services, including making deposits at online casinos. It is not possible, however, to receive money through Payr. Therefore, you will not be able to make withdrawals with it.

To register for the service, you will need:

• • • Have an active mobile number.
    • Hold an account with a Norwegian bank (BankID).
    • Hold a Norwegian Visa or MasterCard.
    • Have an email address.
    • Own a device with iOS 10 (or newer) or Android 5.0 (or newer) system.
    • Download the app through the official website of Payr.

After installing the app on your smartphone, you will be able to create an account using your BankID, phone number and address.

It is worth noting that there are no fees for using the Payr up to the limit of 10,000 Norwegian kroner (NOK), approximately $ 1,100. From 10,001 to 30,000 kronor, the user can pay 1% fee or fill out his profile and submit invoices for analysis in order not to pay the fee. For all other amounts, the rates below apply:

      • 75,001 – 150,000 NOK: fee 2%
      • 150,001 – 500,000 NOK: fee 3%

Per month, the limit that can be paid with the app is NOK 500,000.

Like everything else, using Payr in online casinos has its advantages and disadvantages. We have separated everything you need to know below.

ADVANTAGE

• Not paying fees to make deposits at casinos and bookmakers is a super advantage! There are few payment methods that do not charge fees. Credit cards, bank transfers wallets, online wallets, prepaid cards: they all charge fees to make transactions.
• The application is quite easy to use and with it you can make payments to various online services.

DISADVANTAGE

• Only Norwegian residents with a bank account can use the service.
• Users must associate a credit or debit card Aim or MasterCard to the app to make the payments.
• It does not work as an online wallet. The app is just an intermediary to make online payments easier.
• There are few websites that currently accept the method.
